Authentic African Black Soap

Our Authentic African black soap is a traditionally all natural soap made in Ghana. A traditional recipes used palm kernel oil and the filtrate of burnt cocoa pod ash. To make the African black soap, the women of the village dry plantain fruit skins in the sun. They then roast the skins in a clay oven. This gives it that fine natural scent and texture. The longer the duration of the drying process the darker the color. Then it is mixed with palm kernel oil to get the finished product.

African black soap is naturally exfoliating. Exfoliation can help remove dead skin, leaving the skin fresher and cleaner after use.
